Try moving the table first, then move the chair so that the chairs will "dock" with the table. I find this report strange because survivors will eat on foot if there is no chair even if "eat on foot" is not enabled. That's preferable instead of starving.
I play Insane/Chaos a lot and never had a single meltdown. Schedule > Anything and sleep from 2000-2400. They'll take breaks and eat as needed.
Well, I head here my first meltdown ever and it was just inattentive in the start - dealing with attacks every three days was surprising (I play trade scenario and before my hardest was.. well, hard) to me and so I was not good prepared to defend attacks that early.
However, I will try to rotate them again. But yes, the behave of my survivors is as if there are not sitting location at all.
After a night they accepted the new place.
I had the idea, that maybe the "order queue" makes here trouble. It could be, that while the charakter was still doing other stuff while the furniture was moved, the decision to eat was already put in the queue. And I could imagine, the "how to eat" is then determined and so he was eating on foot, even if the re-location was already done if he ate.
That would also explain, while this bug seems only to occurr a directly after relocating.
