Stranded Project X mod repaired and ready!
I have decided to repair and re-upload Project-X!

The high level sales pitch is a new scenario is added that occurs a few years after the original scenario's characters escape from the planet.
The intergalactic empire has redirected all colonization efforts to this planet.
As the survivors of the crash in a secret military debrief recounted tales of creatures deadlier than their military, and knowledge learned that no one else knew.

As you play, slowly realize how much the empire actually cares about "you" vs what you are here to get them.
Grow in technology not just limited to modern earth technology; but intergalactic standards!
Maybe even steal military secrets to help defend yourself from the next insect incursion?
Wait? Why are all these bugs starting to work together? Why are some of them silver and even deadlier than normal?!?!?

This adds end-game content that acts as close to a sandbox as possible.
Reacting and changing what you need to produce, how to defend yourself, and your relationship with the Galactical empire as you play.

Yes you may have solved your food/happiness/storage shortages, but now you can spend what you make to other colonies for favors with the empire!
Should I use my raw food for cooking, or start playing god with creature genetics?!?!?


One of the biggest Stranded Alien Dawn mods fell into disrepair, as the original developer Logics decided to step away from maintaining this mod.

No ill will on that decision, as modding is difficult and time consuming. And everyone's attention and priorities shift as time passes.

I'm an avid city builder player, and when I switched back to play SAD I loaded up Project-X
to extend my enjoyment of the game.

I was astounded by what the game added, and could see the impact newer versions of SAD did to the mod code.

I also suspected I could fix a bunch of it.

After diving into the code for ~2 weeks, I have touched up most if not all pain points I identified. So it is ready for download and enjoyment.
Slight disclaimers, I do not know Lua; and I don't intend to keep churning out content.
But for now it has my hyperfixation, and hopefully you can enjoy the benefits.

Hi, I've been using the project x-repaired mod and I really like what it adds to the game. I have no experience with modding but am prepared to learn as there are errors in the mod that I would like to fix. One being no research for safes available which can be worked around by buying the tech when a trade ship offers it. But the blackmarket does not show in the trade console, and the alien electronics tab does not show on the electronics bench, research completed but not showing. Could you offer any help or advice.

Not sure how I missed the notification:

1. Safes should be research-able as of 5.05-155

2. Also in that update I attempted to clean up the recipe crafting UI's. So that the recipes made more sense "which" building produces what research.
