Room Size
In my first house I built separate bedrooms (3x3 iirc), and each morning they would get a +3 Buff for Small Room. I then expanded the next Room to (4x4 or maybe 4x5), and didn't get any Buff; I was expecting a Medium or Large Room Buff; but received none.

I'll be starting to build Bedrooms soon (in my Current Game)... so I'm wondering is there a Sweet-Spot on Room Size to make them Happy?

Advanced Thanx!!!

Twenty squares should get you to "spacious" +18 buff. I usually aim for 4x5.

4x5 should give you +18 buff. Throw in a double wardrobe and a fireplace oh and a comfy chair and they'll be happy for life.

Does adding furnitures to the room increase happiness too? Also for fireplace do I need it to raise happiness or only to help keep warm?

A wardrobe allows them to store clothes and weapons and tools I think? A fireplace is needed for when it gets really cold. I mean air conditioning would be best if you can do that, but a fireplace will keep nearly all survivors happy during the coldest winters and it cures hypothermia very quickly so if you get a hypothermia warning or even a life-threatening warning then just send them to bed in a 4x5 room with a roaring fireplace and they will be fine. Not sure if they enjoy armchairs? It may fall under creature comforts? Oh and flooring helps a lot with creature comforts. Give them a bit of carpet and they're over the moon!

And just to add; flooring is important everywhere really. If they walk across bare wooden planks they will get a -5 debuff. But if you put down any flooring in all your buildings they will get a +5 buff for creature comforts instead. So even hallways for your living quarters need flooring. Anywhere they will walk inside a building needs some kind of flooring.

I do 5x5 and have always gotten the buff for a spacious room buff.

Regarding the Wardrobe and FirePlace; Are we talking 'In the Bedroom'... or just 'In the House'?

That's it.
Everything else you put in the bedroom is either for heating it or dressing up the room. Max bonus from room size won't go above +18

You want to put them in the room, or at least put vents into the rooms otherwise they wont be warmed/cooled.

I should have asked sooner; the house, as a whole, isn't big enough for that. Unless I did 1 or 2 large Barrack Style Room; but I'm going after Single and Couples Rooms. But as always... Live and Learn; each Replay is going to get better :D.

Vents... Got it :D. Vents I can do :).

What I do is more apartment style, I do 3 bedrooms to a building, bedrooms being 5x5, with a 3 wide hallway connecting them with an ac unit on each end, and then vents into each bedroom. I put a comfy chair and a wardrobe in each (though I've never seen them put anything in there lol I just like the looks).

If you have a music instrument, a statue from observing a bug/animal, a mushroom lamp, a dartboard or anything else where they can relax at, you don't "need" a 5x4 bedroom. Even a 3x2 will do just fine then. It's the debuffs from interrupted sleep when they don't have a private bedroom that lowers their mood mostly. Especially if the other survivors do a conga line next to ones bed.

Also First building you can keep small to get through the first winter and later on you just expand it to a more suitable size to your liking.

The buildings on the left are my appartments, figured I'd share the screen shot.
