There are 2 ceiling bulbs - one to the left, the other to the right of the unpowered elevator. Both bulbs work, so it's really odd. The only time I saw these sort of issues is when I am building the house. I have the floor down but only parts of the ceiling. Sometimes, devices placed on the floor too far away from a power pole gets unpowered even though the pole is right up against one side of the floor.
No idea what can cause it for you. I only build the ground floor though.
Perhaps deconstruct and rebuild the second one ? Or give the powerpole a 45 degrees turn by replacing it ?
Unrelated (I think): I had a pop-up message saying that there was something wrong with the game logic related to mods. I have played several games to completion with the current mods and never had an issue. Any one seen that message before?
Btw, might be that soon some mods need to get updated.

Ok thanks. I reloaded without saving and had no message that time. Everything seems ok for now. This run is almost over anyway - crafting fuel to build the escape rockets while fortifying my base to manage the attacks.
