Is Connor a actual ticking time bomb? because of his implant he gets migraines and vomits etc etc

Is there ever a way to cure him?

Is there anyway to turn infertile soil to silt or loam? like where the landing pod dropped or other debris.

Some areas of debris is infertile BUT other debris sites are silt or loam!

As far as I know, there is no 'official' way to cure Connor, only by using mods. There is an achievement for rescuing him, if you get him off the planet before he dies in the crash-landing scenario.

There is a mod for terrain recovery, and I think it affects infertile soil as well.

So Connor screwed me twice then. When we got our first rescue pod he volunteered to stay due to his skills. Then died right after the first person left. I was so pissed. I managed to bury him after I calmed down. Thought About letting them butcher him out of spite. It wasn't his implant that killed him. It was alcohol. Damn lush!

You have to build the communications array. Two of them actually and try to communicate with ships passing by to get them to send you a drop pod. Of course the comm arrays piss off the animals and they attack more frequently when its running.

They don't!

Only exception (I think) is the 'official' cheat mod, and then only if you actually use any of the cheats in it.

An expedition will find the Orbital Radio. So send people out if you haven't been doing so.

Yes, just build a house soil foundation over that spot then cancel.

You can increase soil quality by growing mulchtube or giant's grass on them. Note that it's a slow, gradual progress.

I think Connor can be cured by the Mystical Grove expedition, but that's very rare to get and you won't know what it is till you get there.

I DID IT! I got a rescue pod offer and saved Conner before he died!

He was in bad shape too his eye was a constant infection.

Well done. I sent Edmund back, he was always having hissy fits. My Connor died, but I kind of think he is on a sticky wicket from the beginning.

wait a min I just reread that after like a nearly year and your colonists / survivors can die from alcohol?
