Broodmother
Where can she be found?

I read that she can only be found in attack waves but I know this isn't true because I saw her in nests before (didn't realise taming her was the hidden achievement) but can't remember what scenario I was playing and was hoping someone can help me with the best scenario to play. Been playing normal Crash landing and into year 5 and still no spawn of her in nests or waves?

They will come in the attack waves. If they don't show up, increase your defenses. The severity of the attack ramps up the more defenses you build and thus more broodmothers.

Is that on any scenario apart from Military one(Don't think there are waves on that one?)

There are no bug attacks in the Guardian scenario. Afaik they do happen in all other scenarios.

There are bug nests in all maps except Saltu. Every nest has 1 broodmother, more depending on difficulty. In non-Guardian scenarios, just build a bunch of turrets and they'll come sooner or later. Though at that point it'll be hard to tame. I got lucky to knock one unconscious and that separated the rest of the mob from her, allowing for easier taming.

I noticed all nest on normal and below have no Broodmothers but once you up the difficulty, 2 or more appear in multiple nests. I believe it's to do with difficulty because i have never had one in an attack wave on normal or lower and having turrets galore. Once I upped the difficulty I can see at least 8 Broodmothers in 4 nests.

Cheers for the input as always guys

My computer can't handle more than 500 bugs in one attack. Grids down to a slide show.
So sadly i play on easy but i use this mod to up the size of the spawns to 200%.
Still nothing compared to the thousand or more i see in peoples games but hey, it is what it is.
The waves do have quite a few broodmothers.

Yeah I've had around 7k flying bugs( I posted a picture in these forums) when I went turret heavy and they game just straight out tried to kill my survivors and my PC lol. I used that mod myself and never thought to increase it but I just managed to tame the Broodmother so finally that's all achievements done, been a really fun game. Now I'm gonna chill and see if i can get every survivor plus some added ones all under one roof
