The part of the DLC that is not available in other scenarios is just the android character (Hope), the events associated with Hope, and the robot enemies. (And even then, with mods, even they are available in other scenarios if you want them to be).
If you are mostly sure you will enjoy the game, I'd get them both, seeing as there is a bundle discount. If you are unsure though, perhaps save your money and wait on the DLC.
Thanks for the info, yeah I am almost sure I will like it from the videos I saw looks like rimworld with raids plus some this war of mine vibes but in 3d.
I tried to search info about the techs added but found no clear info about how it affects the other scenarios gameplay or if the techs were also limited to only the Hope scenario.
Hey Zhurtel! The service and combat bots can be accessed in all scenarios, as can the Laser Swords and the Surgical Automaton.
Hope 9000 and the manufacturing consortium enemies are exclusive to the Guardians scenario, but the remaining content from the Robots and Guardians DLC, and the free update, are available in all scenarios.
