How do you actually build a drone?
I've been able to produce robots and mechs for awhile now, but I've never been able to find wear to build a simple worker drone.

It's a seperate research project. Once researched, you just have to build one.

I've researched delivery drones a while back. The option doesn't seem to appear under any tab in Science or Production.

The option does not appear on a soldering bench.

Do you need a 3D-Printer?

It's not a crafted item, it's a constructed item. You build it, the same way as mechs.

The delivery drones show up under "Storage" on the build menu, iirc.
