I am a fan of lake seeds. So far, none have been better than LLL, in my opinion. Even the game generated equivalent to LLL, WHOLE-FIELD is lacking. Although they are both the same start location, LLL still has better starting science. Nonetheless, here are some lake seeds that I have run across. Maybe one will be what you are looking for. I will start with LLL Lake. I am not the one who discovered LLL, but because many know this area because of LLL, I will dub the lake as such.
I should note that I do not usually pay a lot of attention to the surrounding plant resources, because I usually include Rita on my team. If I see a grain plant, I am normally good to go.

(QUIET-TRUTH) Down the shoreline a bit from LLL. Starts with Improved solar, carbon wind, improved laser pistol, improved sniper
(NERVE-IRON) Close to the same location as QUIET-TRUTH. Starts with improved sniper and laser pistol, Sleep training, and printed components
(BEING-SEARCH) Other side of LLL lake up high. Starts with sleep training, battery and balloon optimization, improved solar cells, and hay sausages.

(PRIDE-WEB) Ore prospecting, hay sausages, graphene solar, improved sniper
(STAND-DRIVE) Sleep training, meat printing, printed components, improved solar. Alien nest close.
(FINISH-FACTOR) Ore prospecting, chitin synthetics, Fuel fermentation, carbon armor.
(OVEN-SLEEP) Ore prospecting, meat printing, improved pulse rifles, carbon armor. Stone is scarce here.
(LIGHT-SILVER) Ore prospecting, meat printing, printed components, carbon wind turbines.
(ANGLE-SPEND) This one is not right on the lake, but very close to it if you wish to build against it. Sits in an interesting V shaped valley. Has Chitin synthetics, printed components, fuel fermentation, carbon wind turbines.
(HAT-MAP) Ore prospecting, hay cloth, fuel fermentation, graphene solar cells, balloon optimization.
(PITCH-SALT) Interesting start between a lake and a pond. Chitin synthetics, hay cloth, hay sausages, graphene solar cells, improved laser pistols.
(CRY-QUEEN) Also not right on the lake but so close it does not matter. Tons of trees. Chitin synthetics, improved solar, carbon wind turbines, carbon armor, improved sniper.
(CASH-WEIRD) Steep embankment overlooking a lake. Not one, but three crashing debris within spitting distance. Nest close by. Chitin synthetics, graphene solar cells, carbon wind turbines, improved balloon, improved laser pistol.
(SWEET-APPLE) Looks very defendable. Graphene solar cells, carbon wind turbine, improved laser pistol and sniper, and meat printer.
(BUY-WAIT) Lake within walking distance. Probably not a good base location right on the lake. What is interesting here are the three nests close by. Ore prospecting, sleep training, meat printing, fuel fermenting, balloon optimization.
(RACE-BEACH) Looks suspiciously like PITCH-SALT. Sleep training, graphene solar cells, chitin synthetics, improved laser pistol and pulse rifle.
