How to create the small portrait for modded characters?

There's two file types it seems, the standard PNG for the main, then a small version for the character selection screen. If you use the standard file you end up with a massively zoomed in portion of the main image. The first time I ended up with just the nose, the second attempt was mostly nose and mouth. When searching for the file, the mod editor is looking for *_small.*

100 x 120 px png file or 100 x 100 px png file
The filename should have : name_small.png extension

You can just easily use the sample character mod Jacko, look for the "icons" pictures inside mod folder, open and edit those in any software you use :) There are 3 character icons pics.
- one larger ending with _large.PNG (used in character selection and during story bits)
- one smaller ending with _small.PNG (used as UI portrait picture) - this one should have transparent background
- one ending with _inventory (in case you want to use custom inventory picture for your character)
