if your antivirus says it's unsafe check it on virustotal. it's probably not harmfull and a false flag.
"f your antivirus says it's unsafe check it on virustotal. it's probably not harmfull and a false flag"
So you don't need a scanner.... And if it does harm windows defender will block it.... Snap!
Same, zero false flags on any steam game.
i don't personally use it, but I do stay abreast of what security software is recommended by actual professionals and experts (i.e. not any of you guys), and the consensus among them is pretty clear.
Yes it was quite a few years ago, but. It destroyed my file structure. I had to reformat. I was dumb enough to put it back on my system. It destroyed my system again. Proof enough for me drop it in the trash bin and not trust it again. Same goes for Symantec and their tools. That was the third time I had to reformat my drive. Oh, and you cant ( or couldnt then ) uninstall it. It left pieces all over the drive and registry that I had to hunt down and delete before I could install another virus scanner. It took hours. Never again.
edit:
This too. There is no need to run anything in Steam through a virus scanner. I can guarantee you that Steam has a better virus protection than you can buy.
