One Day/Night sensor for switching lights on/off?
Hi guys, as title says I would like to use one day/night sensor to control all nights in my base. I successfully set it up to control my night lights (circuit 10) outside to switch on at night time, but I can't make it switch off my indoor lights (circuit 9) in the bedrooms at the same time. I tried to connect the lights using the "inactive circuit". I also can't manage it with a second sensor; have you successfully set it up and can give me a hand?

I never tried that. If i would want the indoor lights to be set separate i would use a switch for the indoor lights.

The sensor detects night, and than activates the choosen circuit. So if you set your Sleeproomlamps on inactive 1 and your outdoor lamps on active 2, and switch EVERY circuit on the corespondense lampüs correct, at night indoorlamps on 2 are off while these on 1 are on. so every lamp must be wired correctly, but its bedder to use a light switch for indoors, cause of two reasons: after a fight, with much medical care, you need light to work efficient. 2. the energy saved from light bulps is not worth your time, one simple wind power can keep a whole of around 20 bulps active, up to 40 without problems.

Hallways to rooms should always be lit, to make walking easier!

works fine with sensor for bedroom lights, make sure you dont missed some cable somewhere. They must be in the same electric grid.

All right guys thanks for the very fast answers! makes a lot of sense to me. Had the light switch thing done already, but I am a fan of automating things so I was just wondering if its possible! Considering this solved :)
