I can't figure out why I've suddenly lost power here...
I only have the generator, attached to a electricity pole and with a refrigerator right on the other side of the wall.
I got a message about a heat wave, but it hasn't heated up yet...and yes, there's fuel in the generator. The fridge was JUST running...and then I got a message saying that it isn't...that horrible sound they play came with it, if that means anything to anyone.
I haven't built any new walls or anything...any idea on what might give here?

Have you tried turning the generator off and back on again ? Maybe remove and place back the power pole ?

I am just guessing here. Never had such a setup and encountered such event.

Dunno, for one of my case, I accidentally delete a single floor block of a room causing the circuit going through the building(multiple rooms) to be broken as it's no longer "indoor".

Mouse over the rooms to check indoor status.

I also notice the electricity grid is still a bit bugged, in my current game. I sometimes loose power or connection when building something new or dismantling things (unrelated to the grid), or sometimes for no apparent reason. Moving a power pole back and forth or building a new one solves it.

I experience exactly the same thing, and use exactly the same solution to resolve it.

The first time or two I spent way too long trying to figure out what "I" did wrong. But now I just think it's glitchy power-grid calculations by the game.

It's nice with the increased range of power poles since the release, though! It was a bit short before. I suspect there will be some further tweaks with the electrics in future patches.

Yep, they are busy with the next expansion. Any constructive feedback they appreciate.

I appreciate it, I'll give it a shot if building another pole here doesn't work, thanks for speculating for me here.

Hah, just jumped into game to see if that'd work and surely enough, power is back on! Very good, thanks for this, I'm torn between saying this would have never occurred to me and that I can't believe I hadn't thought of it lol
Thanks for the help here guys, really appreciate it.

:steamthis: Nice! Yeah bugs like these are frustrating when you're not aware of them, especially when you're doing 'everything right', but it still doesn't work... :steamdeadpan:

Just had something similar happen in my game, when I check my batteries it's showing 46 power generated, and over 100 consumed.
When I click on my power poles it says I am consuming <50, and producing 850 during the day, with windmills at 50% and solar panels at 100%, and 5 generators running when under 50% battery. I did move some power poles, but they all show the same info.

I will try moving some of them, just sucks to have wasted several orbital transmissions to flickering power off and on.
