Turret's Not Powered on Rebuilt Platform

So - I had a bunch of platforms made of wood with turret's on top - powered by power pole etc. I upgraded to stone and suddenly all of my turret's were no longer powered. After much trial and error I found that I needed to destroy the stairs and rebuild as stone. Instant solve on all platforms.

So just sharing this in case anyone else encounters this frustration. When I selected the mostly converted stairs I noted one "stair step" was still wooden... not really sure why.... but this fix did fix it.

I've had the same thing occur after a rebuild of some things a couple of times; all I needed to do was move a power pole to get the power back to the turrets. I was able to move it back to the same spot it had been in, it just apparently needed a 'refresh' of the power grid.

I tried a bunch of moves... even rebuilt the grid entirely (all poles deleted)... The only solution was the stair removal.

I also "fell through" the map into a black void during this time...

Maybe I was just especially glitchy... but on reload the next night, I tried everything again on that save and the stairs were the key.

Just thought I'd share before someone abandons a base.

I should confess that I also have the "superior power poles" mod... but the glitch occurred for both poles.

Can you give step-by-step reproduction steps, please?
I made a turret on top of wooden platforms and powered it.
Then I reconstructed the platforms into stone.
The turret was just fine - it had power and could shoot.
Also, can you give the precise name of the mod you are using?
I can't find a "superior power poles" mod.

I truly tried everything - moving turrets, remaking all poles, re-constructed back to wood... etc...

But maybe I was just esp. unlucky there.
