Room Type question

So when you put multiple beds in a room it is identified as a dorm, I also find a small private room, and regular private room, dining room as well.

What are other room types? is there a storage room? I tried to make a room with a research table it didn't turn into a research room or lab.


Also it took wayy too long for survivors to go around the map, is there a mobile or a way to move faster?

A very important room type is 'spacious bedroom'. You get this by having a min 5x4 tile room with a bed in. They'll get a +18 happiness buff by having their own, large room like that. Interesting observations and experiments, btw!

Regarding moving faster, that is the most asked question on the forum, I think. So far there are no way for the survivors to move faster, but mechs were introduced now in the full release, so maybe something is planned, or we will see vehicle mods on the workshop soon, if we're lucky!

I've always wanted to see jet packs in this game. Been watching too much of "The Mandalorian" It would be so cool

I think if you put a room with just shelves it says storage room. Not sure if that has any bonus. Really the most important part is getting the spacious bedroom asap. Once you have that up and running you will probably never see a meltdown again.

As far as moving I think they haven't done anything yet because the map isn't actually that big. A small buggy or cart would be nice though to allow for faster collecting.
