Terraforming and terrain manipulation is not in our plans for the future of Stranded: Alien Dawn. You can remove crash spaceship debris if you have the "Salvage" research option unlocked, but you won't be able to fill in the craters and will have to build around them.
It's can't use up a lot of flooring but usually hay soil does will do do a lot. Also a good place for a landing pad if you've got the metal, stone, or concrete,
Infrastructure and housing.
That said, I would still like the ability to flatten terrain. Seriously, if native americans can haul millions of baskets of dirt and build giant platform mounds, I should be able to get a few people to shovel over a plowed-up pile into the crater it came from.
