Dirty clothes debuff

The character put on new armor, and in the first battle received a huge dirty clothes debuff. Is it possible to get rid of this debuff and does it bring something other than a worse mood? Forgive me for writing here, but information about the game is still very difficult to find

I didn't know there were dirty clothes in the game. I've recently fitted all my survivors with synthetic armour, and they can get dirty? So have to throw them away then, or do they clean up over time?

There is water in the game, but the characters only go into it up to their ankles, so they probably won’t be able to wash themselves). The dirty clothes debuff disappeared on its own after a couple of in-game days. I would like to know the details of this mechanics.

Boy, isn't that the truth. The hazards, I guess, of playing an EA game. Try googling Stranded Alien Dawn Juiceleaf. Nothing helpful.

Roll your cursor over the debuff (or buff) and it will generally tell you how long it lasts (if it is the sort that reasonably would have a predictable duration; Ate tasty meal, yes, Barefoot, no).

I usually only get dirty clothes when seriously injured.

If anyone is still wondering: rain will clean your characters… 🤦‍♂️
This is a very silly mechanic. Neither done nor to be done, if you ask me.
