Private Bedrooms and Heating

I made several bedrooms in a wood building separated by sticks walls. In the hallway between them is a fireplace - but ofc it is not enough to heat the rooms.

Has anyone find a better way to do that, besides putting a fireplace in each single room?

i have made them a 3x3 room each in a line down, only a 2 block hallway. every other room had a heater between them and i left them without doors. it seemed enough so they don't freeze to death.

you could also make a room with all the beds together like a barracks and put a heater on each corner, the center of a room seems to stay warm if you keep the outer part of it heated

I have to check w/o doors, and hope they still get the "Own bedroom" buff plus don't get "disturbed".

they wont get the buff if you dont have a door but its a quick fix so prevent them from freezing during a cold snap

Use the vents into each room. I make a large 16x16 building with 5x4 bedrooms, a fireplace and two heaters, and the vents are enough to keep the rooms at the same temp as the main area.

After removing the door of one of the bedrooms, she got the "Spacious Bedroom" buff, as it added the hallway. The others going to bed seem to not disturb her, so I guess I remove all doors then.

ignore the furniture. ^^ i was just showing you an example of how the rooms were.I had 1 wood heater between the doors as the example. also when they fall in love, just assign them a room with the beds next to each other if you didn't already know. took me awhile to figure out i just needed the beds together

my entire base seemed to stay warm in the middle by having the exterior rooms warmed up. i used to have 2 heaters and 6 or 7 wood burners in the center barely get my base above 32, after i changed the locations, i only have 1 heater in the center room

Ignore what I said earlier - asa all doors were gone it didn't count as a large bedroom any longer...

Uhm, what are "vents"?

air vents. when your building, its under light and heat category. you will se them in my picture i sent. they level out the temperature between 2 rooms

Atm Im using the heaters on Power so every rooms has one and also the main floor where the reseaching and so on goes on and in the main floor i got a thermostat that will tell all heaters when to burn and when to go out Also every room has a heat vent so The heat in spreads to every room so u can maintain a Temp for the whole building .

I don't think I've noticed this -- I always use just doorways into the bedrooms, and they do get the buff.
