So it seems higher grade materials do last longer.
It is not about material, but about type of an item.
Basic clothes must be replaced every year. Material does not matter.
Leather armor has more durability, it can stay for more than two years.
Synth armor even more durable. My starting Synth vest has warn off on year four.
I believe Carbon armor is even more durable, but I never tested it.
I suspected this so i had been removing higher grade material when I made basic clothing. I don't like that it checks the box by default and you can't uncheck it till you acquire it. That's a shame though it would be cool to be able to make synthetic t-shirts or whatever else so they could last a lot longer. I had to ask though because it would seem like it might make a difference.
Hi Lauruswolfe!
A T-shirt in Stranded: Alien Dawn is still a regular T-shirt, regardless of whether you use Cloth or Synthetic Textiles.
Hope that helped clear things up!
Thanks, it did.
