I am on DUMA-Key, which is supposed to have them, but searches have not shown them. Can anyone tell me what they look like? Are they a bush? grass? reed? vine?

Maybe you are already doing this, but it helped me to highlight a swath of the screen with the left-click on the mouse. A detailed summary of everything available in the area highlighted then pops up. To expedite things, if you are looking for something specific, the summary always lists everything in the same order (rocks and rock chunks are always last, e.g.), so you can just scan that point on the list where the item you are searching for would appear and move to the next area. Things such as chew roots and grain grass can be easy to miss if you are scanning visually.

I'm playing on a popular 'first week walk-in' seed (CALM-TUNE), and this doesn't have any chew-root either It has every other plant and resource.

I found a list of seeds and which plants / resources / breakthrough techs in a spreadsheet / Excel form a little while ago, but forgot to bookmark it, and I tried searching for it yesterday for a long time without finding it.

Did anyone else see this and bookmarked it, please?

Which is a problem if you don't have Rita or another survivor that finds stuff. Maybe I'll get lucky and save one of them.

theres also events what discovers stuff , plants etc... cant recall what the event is called .. or if you do need rita exploring .. i kmnow with Rita i did explore and she found a plant on the way and a 2nd plant at the site when arriving... a few times even !!

Is that on Sobrius or Desertum? I know my Desertum seed doesn't have any of the plants in your screenie.
