Upgrading and repairing clothing, weapons, and crafting benches

-It's a little annoying that I have to deconstruct clothes and weapons to create more of the same. I think it would be better if players could repair and upgrade the clothes and weapons to limit the number of resources used and speed up the crafting process a little.
-crafting benches need to be upgraded. So far, players can only utilize an upgraded research bench and smelting machine while everything else in "production" remains the same. In my opinion, a lot of the production objects should be automatized with electronic advancement.

If you do all that the survivors will complain about 'laundry' and caveman 'ironing'.

Why `deconstruct` to make more? Just get the resources and make multiples at workbenches. If you look at each item in ,let`s say, tailoring / boots, their stats are different for temperature tolerances and attack deflection. They are your `upgrades`. As for "speeding up" crafting, the more you do the more xp you gain thus increasing your levels,therefore increasing your speed, up to a max level of 10. That applies to all tasks.

If my character is wearing worn-out shoes, instead of crafting more shoes, it would be better to repair them instead of deconstructing them. I have a character with crafting lvl 10, but she's also the farmer. I've noticed that it takes her longer to craft 2 pieces of clothing than it takes for her to farm a few fields.

shoes are harder to make in real life than shirts and pants too, requires more than just cloth. I like the idea of repair but to 75% then next repair 50% then 25% then its gone, i can take something wore out and still get cloth from it? And not to get off this discussion but carts or something to move stuff faster, have a game nearest early nest (on peaceful, i like to just build and stuff) is like a day walking away, no way to get that carbon quickly. but yeah I have worked on shirt sewing and by hand its not long to make with out a maching but shoes should be
