Same here, ran fine on medium settings before the update. Now can't maintain playable frame rate even on low settings. Disappointed.

Computer heats up a bit more but no lagging.

If you start in some of the hilly areas, with lots of trees or rocks it can get laggy from the start, even worse during attacks. It really comes down to your pc spec.

I use 3600x cpu and rx580 gpu.

You should disable Vsync & set Frame Rate to 60. This isn't a FPS game, so there's no reason why you need to be banging out 120+ FPS in a game like this. And don't give me bs you can tell the difference, because you can't. Any one who says otherwise is peddling bs. Your eye's can't tell any difference watching a game play footage above 75FPS. Experts have tested this & beyond 75 FPS your eye's don't register any improvements. The only thing people see are stuttering & lines are not related to FPS. FPS is how smooth your visual display plays out from your GPU. 4K & 8K movies still commonly use 30fps, but some even go to 120fps but more more likely they use 60FPS seeing the expense for 120fps wont be visually noticeable for most hardware.

I would also try playing full screen mode in a lower screen resolution in full screen mode or you'll end up with a window.

A 2 year old thread, dude. I'm sure they've fixed it by now 😁

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
