how many survivors can you get? is there a max?

i keep doing the expeditions, reloading a save and yet they dont seem to find anyone alive. so far i have 9 survivors

There is no cheat to use directly. There r mods which you can set your starting nr of survivor but other than that i would say there is no cap . As long as you use save and load and use all event which give survivors to get survivors. My max was 10. But i think you can get more if map seed gives more events . And that was even before update and big family. Big family made that save and load a lot easier ;) .

4. I dont care what anybody says. Year 2 big family, still stuck on 4. Anybody saying anything over 4 work for the devs and use cheat mode to get more(no, I am being a vicious troll.) I read people say 7 8 and 9, but I never got more than 4 ever. So until I get more than 4, its 4. lol

When you start a new game there is something now called game rules. Click this and select big family. Its supposed to increase chances for a bigger family. Hasnt worked for me yet.

Start a new game. Nobody ever said every game gets 10 survivors. Yesterday I started over 50 new games to get a setup I wanted.

I had a game I played where I only had 5 survivors after 5 years. I quit and started a new game.

I've currently got 8, All 4 from expeditions, got them by summer of year 2. With the fuel reduction research, it costs 15. I spam as many of them as I can. My hope is that will cycle more 'random expeditions" Seems that way, but I have no data to back it up.

First game I got up to 7 in the first few years. Second game I got 6 within first year (so far). I go on every expedition that sounds like people might be there.

You mean the entire list? I seriously doubt it. The logistics would be brutal.

32 survivors in a single run... I guess it's technically possible, but very difficult, haha!

All the chance of rescue survivor in expedition so far end up in failure . I start to suspect the more people you have the less chance you get new survivor.

yeah, kinda dislike that, should not be a random thing but an investment and you should be able to pick from the hole group. like have an exploration task tracking down other survivors. example first survivor 1 trip second 2 trips etc. with a max on say 10 survivors... And you should have total control over who joins.
