The ovens have identical recipes, while the fireplaces have tea and coffee prioritized as well as some of the quick recipes.
Out of my 7 survivors, I have 3 with cooking as a priority #1, mixed together with other high-priority tasks such as harvesting, planting, etc. But essentially, I only have one "Cooking"-only survivor. The others just help out when they can.
Interesting. Do you know the priority of tasks if survivors have several activities set to priority 1? Is it based on their skills, or what is most important, or just random?
I have everyone (most times) set to priority 1 for carrying and handling (and healing), and then the skill they're good as the last one at priority 1. This way they seem to do their main task before carrying and handling, at least.
Pretty new to the game (started 3 games, but not yet played through a winter), but I've been using 2 cooking stoves for food and the camp fire for drinks. Not tried the electric oven yet. Are they faster, or just good for saving sticks?
Tasks are prioritized left to right (after considering the priority number of course)
That makes sense, thanks!
I split Chef recipes to 2 stations
Tasty recipes to next 2 stations
5th one for quick meals and drinks
