forbit to go outside during winter?

so my first winter is going OK, I have around 100 antibio in stock and plenty of food. I do lack cloth and leathers yet though, so some are barefoot. They still go about walking as relaxation in the -10 in the snow. Is there like a "forbid zone" tool I missed?

no way to keep them from going outside. This is why getting tailoring going asap is a norm for me especially on the non desert play throughs. The other thing I do until I have tailoring going well is have them take their clothes off in the summer and lock them from clothing themselves. Put them back on when the cooler weather hits. I never let them go barefoot as it increases risk of injury and does not make them happy.

You can manually direct them to another activity instead of walking. Select the person and right click on another activity, such as playing darts.

I haven't got to winter yet. Do your people have the sense to come back in before they freeze to death?

i cut their relax time to one hour which is plenty for their walks but not getting cold or nastier stuff. Also my first playthrough, word of advice: go look for white flowers early on so you can farm your own cloth asap. My starter cloths lasts around 3/4 year

My first winter was very confusing. The temps indoors and outdoors were crazy. Mostly it was colder inside next to a heater than it was on top of a snowy windswept mountain.

The temp thing is in dire need of a rework.
