Trouble with walls

How do I build walls that go all the way up to the roof instead of just halfway up? He tells me the rooms aren't fully enclosed, and I'm trying to find the reason.

But no matter what I do, he doesn't build some of them all the way. Even if it's displayed as full wall when I'm giving the command, as soon as I click to have it done, it's just a half wall again ... I'm a bit confused.

Help? Winter is approaching, and I don't want my people to be freezing even indoors ...

Hmm ... looked around a bit with the camera, if I click on that house icon in the upper right corner of the screen, the complete walls and roofs reappear. But he still says the room is not fully enclosed. How do I find the gap? o.O

Gaps like those are common when you have the floor on different levels.

clear the wall between the two rooms on different levels and rebuild that wall. it should fix the issue.
