Also, does the difficulty mode affects these survivor events ?
Which survivors did you start with?
I tried one on normal mode, my own seed, it gave me Sora 4 times. Then I switched difficulty to insane and got Connor once ... but that could just be coincidence.
In Sobrius, you crash in a mountainous region with a handful of stepped plateaus. Two side-by-side nests are fairly close, just up a steep incline from the crash site, with a third within walking distance. Might be worth starting with random survivors just to get the starting railgun snipers - particularly if you like carbon armor.
Starting breakthroughs:
Carbon Armor
Meat Printing
Printed Components
Battery Optimization
Improved Laser Pistols
Also, mad salvage. Seriously, there are twelve wrecks quite near the crash site, practically stacked on one another, still leaving room to build. Bring Ken, and you'll have scrap for days.
Not a lot of stone to work with at the site, but there's plenty within walking distance. Loads of trees - mostly broadleaf, but there are evergreens close enough to observe if you want to farm them.
Graincob and Buttermelon quite near the crash, and if you look up the steep slope to the right of the nests you'll find cloth, peculiar bushes, bladegrass and glittershrooms. Smokeleaf in the gully just downhill from the crash site. Lots of Skinbark around, and a few scattered silicon plants though you'll need to farm them if you want enough to make that Printed Components tech earn its keep. Opposite the nests is a nice open plateau (look for the pond surrounded by skinbark) next to a nice rock formation with a tube plant patch - and there are a few beefberry plants nestled in amongst the bladegrass there. Great soil for farming, and nearly level land - it's where I would build.
There are no giant grass, tall grass, or chew root patches that I could find, but that's not what I'd call a deal-breaker.
Pretty good map, with decent techs and resources. And with two walk-ins, I'd call this a high-quality seed, no question.
Having 10 survivors in year 2. But no walk in.

Battery Optimization
Improved Laser Pistols
That's a very nice startup breakthrough list.
