Exactly, the second person will do absolutely nothing.
It never fails, anytime a new game comes out someone comes along and asks for multiplayer but never gives any ideas on how to actually make it work or any real reason for it beyond "because it's cool".
No, that still makes no sense. You're directing survivors, you can't even take direct control of them, just giving orders that they more or less follow. More than one player would be dumb.
Thats how it would look. Just in 3D.
And no, you don't understand what I'm saying, given the programming in this game what you are suggesting is like trying to turn a voltswagon beetle into a tractor trailer. You can't do that.
What he means here is you are not a physical character in the game, you are basically the brain controlling a system. You can make the brain more powerful, you can make it faster. But adding a second brain to control the system would be counter productive, because it would get confusing with problems of workload allocation. Plus there is no benefit to having second or third players in an obviously single player game. Like sim city with two people trying to build their version. Having two games and two players link up would also not help matters, firstly because how would you contact each other? you have to build an array to talk to passing ships, how you gonna talk to someone on another map? And that doesn't even touch upon the travel and trade aspects. It takes them a day to walk a little distance from the base to get resources, they need a year to go to another map to collect or drop off stuff. They'd be dead before they got there. You could say do it by balloon, but it still leaves you short a worker, time in which that worker could have gotten the amount you could trade and carry by just getting it from your own map.
lol
Good idea in theory, but time skip and pause would have to be disabled. And in these games sometimes you need the pause.
8 - 10 Mann Server, somit kann jeder mit jeden spielen;
