long term = releasing the game in full.

Devs don't want to implement anything, theres one person there saying look at feedback and add some stuff! Haha, there is no roadmap...

So there isn't one? this is Frontier Foundry we're talking, would be nice knowing what they plan for their game that some of us own a copy of :UnhappyMask:

An official comment would be nice :csgocross:

Have you seen the stock news from Foundry? Doesn't look like it's gonna exist after this year. Only a couple of games slated for 2023 and none for 2024, with the parent company FDev falling short on other titles. I'm sure they'll finish development of anything ongoing before they close shop, but I wouldn't expect much follow up after the "final" game release.....

Lack of developer or even moderator response all but confirms this

Such a shame, may as well have let paradox liquidate them when they launched Surviving Mars (it says thats by paradox but i sware these guys created it or am i tripping?)

And now I'm going to play some action games, because betting on investments sucks

Now I wonder who owns the IP of this game, Haemimont Games or Frontier Foundry? Are we going to see scandals that happened on Surviving Mars again?

What do you expect a volunteer moderator to be able to tell you beyond what is public knowledge and my own opinions?

All I can tell you is Frontier fully funded this game from the get-go so they'll undoubtedly own the IP. It's been in development for about 3½ years with around 60 developers so that will be a significant level of investment already. They're hardly going to abandon it after investing millions in it's development.

"Foundry" has been very hit & miss (mainly miss) but most of those titles were already in production with Frontier coming in to get them to the finish line. This game they commissioned from inception[www.gamesindustry.biz].

It's only natural they'd want to reassess their strategy with Foundry as trying to pick partially developed indie games that will end up profitable hasn't really worked too well so far. That's all their announcement on this indicates. They're not planning on gambling by backing any more indie titles to release in their next fiscal year.

If it becomes a dead duck I won't complain. I have had my money's worth. For the most part the game was great fun bar a couple of things, maybe the best release of the year so far, but if they don't want to chase it then that's how it is.

As to the core question. Frontier don't really do Roadmaps.

They prefer the "we have nothing to announce right now" followed by "surprise, we have an update releasing next week" approach to marketing.

That's just the way they roll.

Wow, I played small indie games with more content than this - how can it be 60 people, and over 3 years and it's as skinny as this?!

I expect a *Developer* who reads these comments to at least confirm/deny or tell us **something**

I love games like this which is why i took the gamble and purchased it

I didn't mean to sound or come across as *one of those* because i am not *one of those* ... i am autistic and outspoken and all about communication and fairness... i invite you to take a look through my comment history for proof of this - but when *official* people refuse to say a word... what is the community supposed to think?

My thoughts exactly. I would have put it down to around 2 to max 10 dev's over 2 years. Probably spent 75& of the time talking about the game over a pint and a bag of crisps.
