Pod landing pad support structure?

Built this of stone but still won't accept landing pad.

Needs to be of metal or higher. Tool tip says it needs "very strong support".

You also have to place the landing pattern on the platform. Took me two in game years to figure that out. As soon as I placed the pattern down I got a radio message.

I put down a concrete floor. Please don't wait till it is constructed. Place the landing pad immediately down once the "plans" (the planned area where it will be built) have been placed.

The developers need to tweak this so the language on the approved floors mentions that it will work with a landing pad. Using the word foundation in the tooltip when trying to drop the landing pad does not match any building options, making it confusing to new players like me. I built four different doors/ceilings before this combination worked.

Oddly enough, that same landing pod i can drop on a wooden platform in the trader scenario.

Perhaps the devs didn't changed how the drop site in the first scenario should work.
