need some cheats so i can keep playing

my first save was going well before i got a persistent crash so i started over and these new difficulty settings have ruined the game. anyone have any cheat codes that work in cheat engine?

So if you load the mod editor and the load the save you want to play you can hit enter and type in Platform.cheats = true followed by enter again and then the tilde works to load the cheat console up. Only issue I've ran into is the log on the left of the screen won't clear. So it makes it hard to see some windows when you open them in game.

You need to use the 'cheats' mod. It works just fine.

It is built into the game, select "mod manager" from the main menu (down at the bottom) after launching the game, and the "mod editor" shows at the bottom of the mods screen. Clicking it launches the mod editor.

Just to reiterate, go to workshop and subscribe to the "cheats" mod. Then after starting your game at main menu; go to mod manager and enable this cheat. Then run your game as usual and hit the tilde key in game and it should show the cheat menu.

Has it been changed such that having the mod for cheats enabled disables achievements?

I know it said earlier in the thread that "no" it doesn't, but I'm not getting achievements in my game since adding the Cheat mod....even though I didn't actually use it at all.

can confirm, using the official cheat mod disables achievements, and will continue to prevent achievements on the save file even if you remove the mod afterwards.

Yep, I can confirm the same thing since I first asked the question. Even if you do not USE the cheat mod, just having it enabled disables achievements (permanently, for that save).

You can clear the commands that fill up on the left side of the screen by typing CLS.

Has anyone figured out how to load cheat commends on a pre-existing game save. The mod editor commands work but the dev commands like "Happiness", "ResFill", etc I can only get to show up on a new game loaded with the mod-editor.
