Pathfinding Issues
I've been getting these only since the latest patch, which ironically was meant to fix pathfinding issues. Occassionally, one of my survivors suddenly cannot get to a location that has absolutely nothing blocking them. It happens randomly and nothing has changed. Here's a screenshot I took of Katina falling asleep in one of the other buildings because she couldn't reach her bed (its the one right next to Jack)

Any advice on this? It happens to all of the buildings - sometimes they can't haul items to stockpiles/shelves, get food, or get to their bed and at no time can I see any blockers preventing their movement - they simply can't get there and its not clear why.

See if you can manually move them into the offending room

I can verify that I can, at least with the sleep issue (haven't tried this yet with other pathfinding scenarios) - if I draft them, move them just outside the building and then undraft them they'll be able to go to the building they were unable to previously.

EDIT - I should state this issue isn't just when they're moving from one building to another. It can happen when they're outside and trying to move into a building or vice versa. Nothing is in their way - they're the only one in the building or going to it and nothing has changed in the layout since the last time they successfully were able to get there. It seems pretty random to me, but maybe I'm missing something?

With the sleep issue have you assigned them each a bed?

Yeah they're each assigned a specific bed to sleep in

From the look of it, your foundations may be a little high, try placing stairs

The issue isn’t consistent - Katina was asleep in there previously without issue and you can see Jack is asleep in the room so I don’t see that being the issue

Ahh I see, wasn't sure which room. Maybe she took a hit to the head.

Maybe just rebuild the bed and hope it corrects itself

The issue is rampant now - survivors constantly getting stuck trying to move resources, go to bed, play instruments, etc. Here is another screenshot

I had just ordered Rita to play the handpan. There's clearly nothing at all blocking here. She was just in there and walked out and now seems to can't find her way back in. The only way I can get her to go there is to draft her, move her into the building, then undraft and reissue the command. The game has become unplayable because of this - can't play a game where 6 survivors are at random unable to exit/enter a building.

Here's something to try: Delete all those power poles. You only need the one if all you're powering is your house. I had a similar bug break a previous game, nobody able to get to where they're going, and it happened right after I'd placed a bunch of power poles around my house.

One thing I've noticed is that power grids are really weird, and really buggy in this game--including being able to remain powered after connecting poles are removed. Or when I have to disconnect the generators from everything else in order to get new add-on rooms powered. It would not surprise me if there was some kind of pathing interaction as well.

The issue appears to be the doors but the fix isn't permanent. If I move the doors over by just 1 cell, everything is fine for a few days. Then, the issues reappear and if I don't move the doors again (usually just shift them back to where they were previously) the issue spreads to more survivors and becomes more frequent. This seems like a pathfinding bug to me and I reported it inside the game's bug reporter. Thanks!
