People keep eating Emergency rations
There is no option like Emergency rations in Allowed consumables - I think I saw it in Tutorial tho. How do I stop them from eating when there is another food available? Thanks

It's definitely there... separate from the cooked versions too. I think it's under Raw > Others

In Raw I have Meat, Fruits and Oils & Fats.

Don't worry, happened to me too... I wish they had an arrow indicator to show that there's a sub-level..

It's not under raw, but under cooked meals and then other.

No it's not. None of them are under raw food. The uncooked "emergency rations" are under "cooked meals" and then under "other" as you can see:

And the cooked emergency rations are under cooked meals and quick meals:

I very much doubt it is different in your game, it should be the same for everyone.

I wish all lists items were sortable. I would also appreciate the inventory items' header text not having a number next to it - makes it much more difficult to see the groupings. You can watch your vegans starve to death if you forget you changed that setting, btw. :-)

Oh, I stand corrected. Yep, it should be here, as the pictures show.

I just been having this same issue and no one has had correct answer (or already one I understood clearly enough to figure it out from what they said) but I figured it out myself! By shear serendipity cuz one of my survivors was en route to eat a ration... and I was like, "Hell no!!! I got soup!?? Eat ya damn soup!!! What?!?!?! You too damn good for soup?!?!?! (Why you shopping for clothes at the soup store?!?!?!)" I was able to stop him and toggle it being allowed to be eaten, but eventually that got me to figure out correct way to do it. You go (like everyone is saying) into the allowed consumables tab for each person then you need to toggle the show/hide category for Consumable Meals. Then do that again with the other category and finally deselect the emergency rations! Boom goes the dynamite!!! They stop eating the dang rations before everyone is screwed!
