3d print do not show eletronics to print, only food and nanotubes... Anyone knows why??

You need special research for electronics and cpu. Every improved technology, I guess, it's random.
In one start I got improved railguns, but for 3yrs can't find fuel extract from insect. In another start I got this technology in first year, but without any improved electrics. :)

From what I have seen the breakthrough research varies wildly. Started a game and had Improved Solar Panels, Carbon Wind , Improved battery and the other solar panel upgrade as well

Go on expeditions or start a new map, you get a random set of 'breakthrough' research based on map seed, and the rest I assume you can unlock via expeditions. For example you have printing meat which I do not.

Seems to be very different. I'm in the year 10, only have 4 survivors and in the 3D printer only nano to print. But maybe you have to find the other one first through the expeditions, because there's a lot to discover there. translator

The survivors that we choose before start the map change something on researchs?? Can anyone confirm that?
