How do you win?

Year 10, 5 peeps, 50+ expeditions (mostly explore) and radio running for 7+ years. All I get are those ships that offer a single person pod. Is there only one way to win? Regardless, how do I? Thanks

Thats the way. Just rescue one by one till anybode is rescued. thats it.

There is only one way to win. Send off survivers one by one on those drop pods.

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard..... So you get down to one or two people and you get a solar flare..... wipe.

You have to get everyone off the planet. To do that you need to set up traps and automatic turrets and have plenty of power for them. The last battle is hardly possible for last survivor mine had a meltdown and slept through it.
Other Tips
If you want a npc to do something right away click on npc portrait to choose them the left click on item and choose action. They will drop what they are doing and go to that task. As an example when a bug attack warning pops up click on npc portrait at top of page left click on gate and they will go close it. Same goes for crafting cooking switches salvaging harvesting and other devices.
F4 drafts or undrafts all npc’s. Double clicking on npc portrait or notifications sends you directly there which is a quick way to move around map.
X and Z button controls floor elevation. If you don’t like the fences you can place building walls on ground to act as fences and doors open automatically.

So why did they put the radio so early in the research chain? Just seems like it should have been further along.

You can use this mod to have an alternate ending where you send everyone off planet at the same time.
