Room sizes

I have tried a 3X3 and 4X4 configurations for private rooms to try to get greater happiness.
I was wondering if someone knew what the best size/configuration is for happiness, so I can build the house appropriately.

4 x 5 / 5 x 4 will give you +18 happiness and you'll get an additional +9 for the bed

From reading the Discord, 4x5 seems to be the minimum size for bedrooms for max happiness.

we are on EarlyAcess and can hope for more furnitures, what gives "happines-buff" -- or maybe the modders do that later ...

I thought the same thing, so I placed shelves in the rooms, and it didnt change their happiness. I will soon try the crafting tables to see if that works too. Refers, stoves, fridges? Fridges with reefer?

I put fermentation barrels in there and they still get the buff. If people walk in the room to get stuff/put stuff in, it doesn't disturb their sleep.
