Why are people so obsessed with multi-player these days? Too much Fortnite?

Completely agree! I admit coop/multiplayer is fun but not every games needs it. Games like this should be built around single player experience first and then of enough people want it add in coop

I think in this day and age people like to make new friends connections and having that closed off single player experience shuts the door on that dont get me wrong i love the single player games but i play the likes of say dayz to meet new people friends then from there we try new games and that has a snowball effect. But each to there own everyone has different experiences and as long as there good it doesnt really matter lol

Yeah but you can clearly see from the screenshots that this is a colony sim with base defense elements. Not an RTS game where multiplayer is common. Colony sims "usually" don't have or can't have multiplayer.

I am not bot and it's really rude that you called me troll. I am game writer and it's for my work. It's frequency ask question anyway and ask it here will be benefit for everyone.

Why play something solo when I can play with my best friend? If I have a choice between playing a single player game and playing a game with my friend, the friend wins every time.

Why keep arguing over this? You're not going to miraculasly convince each other that your right and they're wrong. The dev has said theyre focusing on single player for now, leave it at that. These types of discussion on steam almost always devolve into name calling and crap.
