Shouldn't this come with the bonus disc?

There was a bonus disc for this incredible game included with GOTY Edition. Is it already installed on the Steam version, or did they forget it existed?

The mods provided in the retail version were provided as a complimentary (for the convenience of dial-up users) and are rather out of date versions anyway. UT2004 ECE on Steam doesn't include the mods either.


Also, including the hi-res S3TC detail textures would screw online play...

The inclusion of the Skaarj Hybrid, Nali, and Nali War Cow models I believe. And the Relics Mutators. I'm not too sure beyond those two.

Funny, I had never realized that the Skaarj Hybrids in the campaign and the menu screen were GOTY only. Must be a side effect of only playing GOTY.

As I said earlyer, this includes the bonusp acks

The first disc was UT, BP', Latest patch.

Also to add, why do you not go research the mods you want to actually play? I made a guide on mods that are worth it.

Also alot of the mods that cfame with GOTY are outdated anyway.

The only BP not included was BP4, but that didnt came wiuth retail either.

Also originally UT if you install BP's you will play your so called 'goty' alteration'.. which are only a couple more 'matches'.

It should work, but it's really not needed. It's easier and more efficient to download everything on the disk from the Internet due to most of the things being updated already.

Unless you know where to look. Beyond Unreal might still be active, and you should be able to grab nearly everything there that is on the bonus disc of UT GOTY.
