Thats the only place youy will find a 'free' UT99...
The 'No Delta' patcfh was not an official patch by the game devs.
all updates later, wasnt official but with support from epic.
The no delta patch was created with content of 436 that includes a no cd crack.
You may be confusing iwth the old 436 creative patch...
ur wrong, the later patches are unofficial patches. epic gave the source code to choosen community member which done the patches together with 1 guy from epic.
just read ur self @ about http://www.utpg.org/
considering the n o delta patch doesnt really work with 440+ servers, what makes sence to you?
Steam version of UT doesnt use the no delta versiopn :P
looks like u doesnt know, why no delta patch was made ?!
No Delta is a special patch for people who have CD reading problems when patching, or have the Japanese version of UT, or the 428 version bundled with some Creative Labs products. Version 436 clients are network compatible with all previous public release.
So why Steam should use a Patch, if they doesnt use any sort of this?
if u cant connect to any server goto http://www.utpg.org/ download latest version (most servers running this) and install it.
Eitherway... Take a lot at all steam games mkay, especially those of the unreal engine, like Rune...
436 is the final official version, 451 is the unofficial UTPG version. 436 officially removes the SafeDisc check it has had since 400.
Epic wasn't the first to do such a thing in official patches either. id software removed their cd check on Quake 2 for v3.20.
maybe someday.
we can just hope ^^
