i rember playing this game as a kid and it was so fun

I first played it a very long time ago, my friends dad often played it and I managed to get into it. Played it for around 4 years then stopped and recently been playing it again

I remember having a server browser showing thousands of people playing UT99 24/7 on hundreds of packed servers. New custom maps and mods were released daily. New servers went up daily. Hundreds of organized clans competed on ladders and in leagues. Those were the days.

I first played UT on the Dreamcast online on 56k, at the time being a console only gamer. Then transferred to the PC platform and was hooked on it with broadband connection.

Now 37 with three PCs and a laptop all installed this game with tons of mods.
