Yeah, Linux version has game speed issues (which are also common with the Windows version) and sound issues. Thankfully modern Linux distros have osspd in their repo to solve the sound issue; just install osspd via Software Center in Ubuntu 14.04 or above. Game speed issue can be tweaked by increasing the CPU speed via an applet and then you are good to go.
Do not get me wrong, I appreciate you effort but native games usually performs way better than wrapped games.
