Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition

Installing Unreal Tournament on Mac or Linux (guide I made for a LAN)
I tried to make this guide, easy to follow with as little work or understanding needed by the participant; to allow us to play Unreal Tournament at our cross-platform LANs.

Thank you!! This give me faith on humanity X) Just kidding, but I hope this works like you say. A game is better when you can play in more platforms

The game is Linux compatible, what's the point of playing it under Wine? Just install it via Wine and then apply Linux patches.

It's just another option. I know that on the Linux Gaming subreddit, some people were saying that the native Linux installation could still give them issues with sound, networking, etc.

Yeah, Linux version has game speed issues (which are also common with the Windows version) and sound issues. Thankfully modern Linux distros have osspd in their repo to solve the sound issue; just install osspd via Software Center in Ubuntu 14.04 or above. Game speed issue can be tweaked by increasing the CPU speed via an applet and then you are good to go.

Do not get me wrong, I appreciate you effort but native games usually performs way better than wrapped games.
