Why doesn't UT come with bonus pack 4 which includes the Warboss model and some extra maps?

Because the GOTY SKU which all future releases are based on, came earlier.

OK, so that means i'am going to have to go & HUNT down all that stuff like the community made map packs AGAIN 13yrs later ?
Shesh, i would have thought that getting it again for such a high price would atleast have that stuff included.
Oh well, i still have my disks, just need to hunt this down AGAIN, some1 should make a sticky for getting these things.

It would be useful, these extras were originally provided free for those who owned the game on the official website.

Many Steam games contain updated content. Generally the content is not limited to what's on the retail disc release. Halflife 2 is still being updated with new textures etc.

I was very lucky in that i was able to grab all of my old maps off of my previous installation on another computer which contained many maps downloaded from various sites over the years and stuff them into my Steam installation. Most still work but I am still missing some texture packs, it seems. But my favorites made it, so that is something. Sure wish there was WorkShop support for these old friends.....

Unrelated Note: I am hereby renaming this game "General Protection Fault Simulator" Not really a gamebreaker but it happens roughly every other time I play. I use "Monster Madness 3" a lot though and UT does not seem to like monsters so, that may be the issue.

fyi all these çostum packs didnt come with goty. If you mean mods like utgods then you just get the updated versions. The one that came withthe disc version of goty are not updated anmore.
