it will come back into popularity some time in the future maybe. things like these come and go, Atmospheric D&B still exist along with industrial EBM/techno etc but it being a thing that everyone is into.. well that hasn't happened since the 2000's.

What I mainly mean by that is the electronic scene is still alive more than ever. But currently other sub genres are currently getting their light in the sun now. the atmospheric stuff is still popular but not as much and I know the popularity varies from country to country..
