Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition

Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition

PS2/DC Maps?
Trying to get back into the UT franchise in general and I'm starting with getting essential map packs and such. Downloaded Bonus Pack 4 already for Unreal Tournament. As I was looking through the BeyondUnreal wiki I came across (and was reminded of) maps that were exclusive to the Dreamcast and/or PS2 versions of the game.

I already did a search on places like MapRaider to see if these console exclusive maps were available, recreated, etc. but so far nothing. I figured I'd ask here and see if anyone might know where I can at least find some of these console exclusive maps, if they even exist.

Here's the official map listing for anyone who's curious (contains both PC and Dreamcast/PS2 maps):

Thanks in advance. :)

Hello, and I hope I'm not too late to answer your question. Currently I am also trying to get back into UT 99 (making a steam guide as we speak) and I was also interested in the console-exclusive maps. Here are links to a few of them made by DrunKenobi which are very excellent:

DM-Brickyard: http://www.gamefront.com/files/1538410/dm_ps2_brickyard_zip
DM-Sorayama: http://www.gamefront.com/files/1538422/dm_ps2_sorayama_zip
DM-Loathing: http://www.gamefront.com/files/1538418/dm_ps2_loathing_zip
DM-Hood: http://www.gamefront.com/files/1538416/dm_ps2_hood_zip
DM-Core: http://www.gamefront.com/files/1538414/dm_ps2_core_zip
DM-Coagulate: http://www.gamefront.com/files/1538412/dm_ps2_coagulate_zip

* It is important to note, however, that pretty much all the console-exclusive maps are very small (possibly due to lessen the frantic gameplay of UT99) and best suited for something like an Arena match with only a handful of bots/players.

Here is also a link to 2 Dreamcast maps (DOM-Hood & DM-Barricade) that were released and are PC compatible: http://www.ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3367

Best of luck with your UT experience ~
Thanks for the reply! :D It's never too late to reply to this. I appreciate what you've linked me to so far. Yeah, that's admittedly a lot of the reason behind why I was looking to see how many of the maps from the console versions made it to the PC version. I like small, close-quarter maps. That and the PS2 version of UT was my first taste of Unreal Tournament (didn't have the money for a PC at the time :P) so it's also kind of a nostalgia hunt for me as well (used to play the life out of DM-Hood).

Thanks again and if you come across anymore, feel free to share the links. :) Good luck on your Steam guide as well. I'll make sure to read it when you get it up. C:

You're very welcome. Right after I posted I actually found some more links (all of which are conveniently contained in Dr. Flay's post about "How To Make Your PC UT More Console Like":

Oooooo, nice! :D Thanks man. Christmas came early for me it looks like. :P I'll have to dig around in that article and those files more when I wake up. It's after 4 in the morning in my area and I need sleep. :P

Thanks again for your help and assistance. :)
