More player models or skins

I'm trying to find more player models or even skin replacements for models, sadly I only find very little on mod db and gamebanana, anyone know where I can get more?

You used to be able to get a whole bunch of cool skins and models down at SkinCity, but, unfortunately, the website closed down. ;(

Why did skincity shut down? I'm still able to go to the website, just the ut99 skins were down.

Also, holy crap that's so many models and skins, just the problem is there don't see to be pictures with them to see the quality of them.

Yeah, that sucks, too, but if you look hard enough, you'll find some good ones!

Do you know which ones are good? also some of these are umods...how do I install those?

To name a few, 6abbey.zip, alice.zip, aramale_010102.zip, and the Arumi and Shibuki models are pretty rad. As on how to install UMODs, normally you'd download one and follow the instructions, but Steam's version of the game is screwed, somehow. Search the "UT99 reg fix," and download the one from Fileplanet. Follow the instructions, let it install, and you should be good to go!

Sweet, thanks it worked out well, though do you know who owns the site? Someone should really include photos with every model.

SkinCity shut down due to technical difficulties with the host (BeyondUnreal) hopping between server providers, causing php-related regressions on the Skincity site code effectively disabling download functionality, and then the affiliated file mirrors were dropping off (filefront, atomicgamer, etc)

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. nostalgia had me searching. I was looking specificly for the WraithGuard model and skin.

well the main site has long dead links, but i was able to find the name and nomenclature of the containing zip file. A backward search of the internet using scripts in google lead me to this site...

I think ut-files has a fair few for ut99. Not sure what they are, but there's always a way to find out xD
