It did come out 2 years later, so that's probably why, but then they could've just have put in the PS2 stuff in a bonus pack or an update.
By the way, be sure to download the fourth bonus pack, it doesn't come with GOTY edition since it was released after GOTY edition was released.

I already have the 4th pack but I'm just wondering why would the ps2 version in a way have better models and other things. It makes me think that they wanted to update the PC version to be exactly like the ps2 with the better stuff it has.
Where did you get the PS2 models? Can you still download them? Or did you port them over yourself?
I got them from mod DB, I believe it's the exact models but the skaarj models seem to be the dominator model I think.
I'm not upset but more curious as to why changes were made or things removed, I like the ps2 version but the lag is bad, I do agree that the dreamcast is better
What i mean by the Dreamcast version is that it sucked. It has less stuff than the PS2 port but is loved because more of a DC-legacy bias.
Ah, alright, well thanks for your info.
I remember playing the PC version not much after, being blown away because I just had such low expectations back then.
During game porting, developers faced difficulties. Turned out the game in that regular PC look didn't work well on ps2 hardware, mainly because of old fashioned vertex animating. So, the devs forced to re-create almost all models on skeletal animating systems, which ut ps2 models do use. So in result, ps2 models are more smooth and a bit differently looking (and better, imo)
You see those characters of Bonus Back 4? It's either ps2 "surplus productions" released for PC version (including skeletal animating) or they were used as basis for skeletal players of ps2 version. BP4 actually has mentions about ps2 actually if you dig in it.
Thanks for the info, I really wish Epic would go back and release the ps2 models as the base models for the PC version they have much more personality than the PC models.
