Hey there people of the UT2004 community, since the game has been dying I've noticed a depreciation in the mods for UT2004. As a result I decided to educate myself one day on how to create skins for UT2004 so I could get some cool characters from other games into UT2004. My website can be viewed here:

On making the skins you'll need a few things: Milkshape 3d, photoshop and paint.net

for getting the models you'll need: ninja ripper and gmod. You can also get models from the internet and google sketchup. Just make sure they are in .obj format

How does a person create a .u file for a skin that can be pushed from a server? People seem to always stop short of this in tutorials, making the skin only visible to the player using it. I have ready-made skins on a server that can be pushed. But how do you create one if that part is missing?
