Report a translation problem
The thing is, I'd like to play with my Logitech USB controller and edit the button layout as I see fit and get prompts from the game that are consistent with what I've been calling the buttons for over 30 years. I don't understand why that's so difficult. Bug Fables at least lets you choose between Xbox and PlayStation prompts and Crystal Project even includes Nintendo prompts on top of all that.
One possible workaround I've thought of is to map keyboard buttons to my controller though JoyToKey, but I need to figure out how to prevent the game from detecting my controller.
I find it really sad I have to figure out some wonky workarounds when there should be some simple options in the game. I nearly wanted to cry when I saw the options in Crystal Project. These configuration options should just be normal, not something that nearly brings me to tears when they're actually implemented.
Having dash on A, and interact on Y is driving me crazy. The general purpose 'use this' button should be one of the ones you rest on, not the 'run faster for a little bit' button.
How do games after 2010 (much less 2020) not have the ability to rebind keys for ALL input formats? The game works just fine with a controller on Steam, but doesn't let you change buttons at all.
