Traveling Merchant not appearing in post-game content?

Hello folks, as the title mention I'm trying to find the Traveling merchant but the rumors are only ever about end game content and not about him.

Did someone ever have the rumor of the traveling merchant in the end game ?

If not i'll have to go on another save and that would be really bothersome.

I ran into him twice. Once before beating the game, and again in postgame.

I've seen him twice in the postgame, but since there are a lot of places he -could- be and rumors for him only pop up so often, he's easy to miss.

Remember that Resting will advance time, and there are different people throughout Harbourtown to talk to for new rumours! I've run into him four times in postgame via rumours.

I get rumors of him in town, then I go out to where he is and he's always there. (remember he might be in a cave.)

In short, no problems here.

As for rumors I know of 7 NPC that talk about them, maybe I'm missing one or two.

Is there rumor npc on the west part of town ? I never found any.

I indeed found him just now, it is simply a rare event, so I confirm it is possible to get it late game.

The rumours are usually loaded in the post game since they'll tell you of rogue fusions, rare spawns, and the merchant. So you might not always get the rumour when the merchant is present - I've run into him before without having a rumour for him.

I've noticed he seems to spawn on the same spots that rogue fusions can spawn, run into a few spots when I was travelling to check for him and found him that way.
