Does something happen after 5 stars?
My Ramtasm and a few others on their last remaster have reached 5 stars, but the experience bar is still filling. Is there something else to attain here or should I be swapping them out to level others?

You can infinitely get more stickers from monsters already at 5* each time they cap on XP again. It's so using your raised monsters isn't entirely without benefit.
